Call for Entries: Art in the Time of Covid

CFE: ART IN THE TIME OF COVID opening on-line July 17, 2020

Because of the recent local surge of coronavirus infections, the SRAC Advisory Board has decided that we would cancel the gallery exhibit, Art in the Time of Covid. Instead we are welcoming artists to submit recent work for an online art show on social media, YouTube and our website. This site will soon have complete entry information.

The Covid-19 coronavirus has caused unprecedented hardship, illness and pain for millions of people around the globe. Our Santa Rosa Arts Center community has been living and working at home while sheltering in place. For some of us, creative expression has helped relieve some of the anxiety of the stay at home requirement.

We encourage those of you who have created artwork during this time to participate in our reopening exhibition.

While submitted work, figurative or non-objective, 2D or 3D, doesn’t have to reference the epidemic, the pieces must have been created this year.

Details about the opening reception will be announced at a later date.

Sonoma County and Northern California artists can submit up to three pieces.  This is a non-juried show. SRAC encourages topical and political art, but we do reserve the right to accept or reject pieces. Artists will receive 60% of all sold art, SRAC 40%.

Fees: Members, $10 per entry. Non-members, $15 per entry, $40 for 3.

Your membership helps keep the Arts Center open and is greatly appreciated.

Annual membership is $40.
