An Online and Gallery Exhibition
November 7 – December 31, 2020
In 1875, horticulturist Luther Burbank referred to Sonoma County as “the chosen spot of all this earth.” After a tough year of dealing with COVID-19, wildfires and civil unrest, in this exhibition Santa Rosa Arts Center encourages us to take a deep breath, look at all the positive reasons we wish to live here and remember how fortunate we are to be surrounded by this sweet land, fabulous food and wine and our diverse community coming together through these crises.
We are paying tribute to our beloved Sonoma County and invite artists to express their ❤️ through their art. Please submit uplifting art, videos or writing to remind us why we choose Sonoma County for our home. Submit your work any time during this ongoing exhibit.
The gallery will be open weekend days and by appointment. County health guidelines will be strictly observed.
Figurative or non-objective, 2D or 3D, posters, photos, prints, or music videos and spoken word. Although this is a non-juried show, Santa Rosa Arts Center reserves the right to accept or reject pieces. Artists will receive 60% of art sold, SRAC 40%.
To submit visual art, send a jpeg (small) of each entry to email@example.com. Label each with your last name, first name, title, size, medium and price.
For videos or spoken word, send a YouTube link and, if possible include a jpeg image.
To display your submissions both on-line and in the gallery, artworks will be received on November 6 12-4pm. Hung artwork dimensions are limited to 48″ in any direction. Due to social-distancing guidelines, we are limiting how many people will be in the gallery, so call or text 707-293-6051 to confirm arrive time.
