Call for Entries New Beginnings

An Online and Gallery Exhibition
January 2 through February 28, 2021

And now let us welcome the new year, full of things that never were.
Rainer Maria Rilke

It is a new year, a fresh start, and a time to shed the inequities of the past, to walk in a new direction with a commonality of purpose towards a just and wholesome planet. Santa Rosa Arts Center invites artists to create artwork imagining a world full of things that never were.

Entry Deadline: Drop off artwork at Santa Rosa Arts Center on December 30 from 12 to 4 pm. For online entries, please submit art and writing by sending a jpeg (small) of each entry to Label each with your last name, first name, title, size, medium and price. For videos or spoken word, send a YouTube link and, if possible, include a jpeg image.

To insure the well being of artists and guests we are following the CDC and Sonoma County Dept. of Health guidelines. Safety precautions such as social distancing and use of face masks will be enforced during intake and gallery visits.

This is a non-juried show and SRAC does not prohibit nudity or political issues; however, SRAC reserves the right to accept or reject pieces. Gallery art that is not properly wired and prepared for presentation will not be accepted. No sawtooth hangers, please. Artists will receive 60% of sale price, SRAC 40%. Open to artists from the Bay Area and Northern California.

Submit up to three pieces. Size limitations: 48 inches x 48 inches
Fees: Members, $15 per entry, $40 for 3. Non-members, $20 per entry, $50 for 3.
